• The idea of a boil and bite mouth guard is that the patient customizes the fit of the mouth guard by immersing it in hot water and then placing it in their mouth, subsequently using biting pressure to seat and form the contours of the guard

• A sample of your water will be taken, sent to a lab and the results will be sent back to our office
• We will call you with the results

Patient Benefit:

• Knowing the amount of fluoride in a well allows us to correctly prescribe the amount of supplemental fluoride for a patient
• If the patient has sufficient fluoride in their well, they will not need to take fluoride drops or tablets

If the patient does not have the recommended amount of fluoride in their well, they will need to take supplemental fluoride drops or tablets
